    From the Grauniad:

"British officials have explained to their US counterparts that the UK
government has no power to interfere with the legal process."

    Heh.

  4. Especially as it was probably a tube map - invaluable to any
self-respecting terrorist that. Lucky he didn't also have an AtoZ
    secreted about his house.

"Three men have been charged with racially aggravated harassment as part of
the police inquiry into the BNP. "

They were actually accused of doing stuff, not just talking about it but
    they still got bail

Probably, it is hard to imagine a white british person being remanded in
    custody for similar behaviour.

Well thats obviously OK then, the police and the CPS can always be trusted.
Anyway if the law is unjust then any prosecution under that law will also be
    unjust,.
For what exactly? What jurisdiction does the USA have over the behaviour of
    people in the UK?

    murder.

    It does happen both ways
No, but there is no option.
In the uk but not of the UK. He is a raving lunatic who has been
    accused by USA, why not.

Somewhere around here I've got a list of the names and addresses of loads
    of important people.

I think I got it from the Consumer Association.

I might still have an out-of-date list of the constituency addresses of
    every British MP.

He's from Egypt and so obviously hates the British, I consider him as
    non British.
    Actually he is not.
The British government revoked his British citizenship in April 2003,
calling him a threat to the country's interests. He has appealed that
decision to a special immigration tribunal and a ruling is not expected
    until January 10 next year.
