Elly is downstairs playing "Name that tune" with two lads, playing a
little snippet of heavy rock music while they pipe up with the band and
lead guitarist's names. So far the lads are doing very well, guessing
almost every song within a few bars of the intro and even asking for
stuff like Van Halen and Guns 'n' Roses. The younger of the two seems to
be doing better than his brother, and is requesting particular guitar
riffs by Slash, by track name.

This wouldn't be too much of an issue with me, if the younger lad wasn't
only 6 years old, ffs. His brother is 9 and wants to play guitar like
the Kaiser Chiefs do.

They're doomed I tell thee.

 

It's good to see them being brought up in the faith.

I'm going to lock them in a room and subject them to some trance and
hardcore dance music until I break their spirit. They'll get 2 Es an
hour as food, and lager for drink.
