I emptied a can of Holts' Satin Black over the old Tiger's tank
earlier, & it looks shit-hot. Not disimilar to that furry black Ducati
use. I think Pinkie's new colour scheme has just announced itself.

The downside is SWMBO took one look & said "Wow - can you paint my
Raptor with that?". I think I've got a few weekend's spraying ahead :-/

Hmm, I might try that for the 'Tiger' decals on the side-panels. SO
wants hers yellow to match the cafe 'corporate' colours. More wasp than
raptor methinks.

A rather rat-looking Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV. Lovely, it is. Serious
track tool, very highly modified for the purpose. Bloody loud, very
rapid, and handles like it's on rails. Watching the body control as I
was following it the other day was amazing - no roll at all, and very
little movement over bumps. Lovely.

You utterly clueless ****.

No, really, you have absolutely no fucking idea.

Lets put it this way, it would run rings round your German barge on a
track, or romp away on a twisty road. Yes, and that's probably with half
the power, too.

It's rough and ready, I'll give it that, but it's all been properly
sorted as a track tool.

Given that you know absolutely sod all about the car in question, I'd
not put any money on the BMW being quicker.
*sigh*

Like I said, clueless.

It doesn't matter what it goes or handles like, it looks crap. And not
at all "lovely".

It's designed for a purpose. Definitely an aquired taste, but as
something to enjoy driving, I want it. The black suits it.

There's a massive difference between standard road kit and a properly
sorted track car. That car is the latter, and I definitely wouldn't want
to try and follow it down a twisty road, it's limits are so much higher
than most standard road cars.

lol.

It's still an underpowered POS that'll rattle itself to death in seconds
flat.

"Do it some more".
Well..... it's got a better power to weight ratio (150-ish bhp and
around 900kgs) and handles better.

*shrugs*

Well, before it's crash weight loss it was only around 1080kg anyway, so
900kg is quite easily attainable. It's running perspex glass where it's
legal, the rear seat and just about anything not essential has been
stripped.
1800kgs for the BMW and 900kgs for the Alfa.
*sigh*

I appreciate you're fishing here, but you are completely clueless when
it comes to these matters - the transaxle chassis Alfas never break.
They rot like ****, but never break.
And I'm pointing out that it's been very carefully prepared to be fast
as **** round a track, nothing on it is cosmetic, it's all functional,
so it's not 'kevved' in any way, shape, or form.
Clueless ****.

Ah, so you're finally admitting it's a Kev'd-up POS.

Cool.
Only if your definition of 'kevved up' is a sorted track car.

You're as far away from the mark as a Chris Waddle penalty.

You're the one who's comparing an Autodelta inspired GTV to a kevved up
heap of shit, that's the funny bit, and it's showing your ignorance of
the subject.

That's the last I have to say on the matter.
