When I was involved in Rallying our chase car was an Alfa Giulietta with the
running gear from an ex-works Autodelta GTV. It was quite quick and handled
rather well[1]. The Autodelta shell was still up the driveway of the guy who
owned and drove the Giulietta about 2 years ago.

We eventually binned the 2.0 out of it and fitted a V6, went much better
    then.
Obsession does funny things to people...

No, it really is a POS Steve. It's like saying my Notrun is a classic.
Way too much suspension of disbelief is required.

I'm sure he subscribes to a load of poxy car groups and claims he's an
    expert on bikes.

Is it a track car or is it a road car? Just because a car handles well
on a twisty road it doesn't follow that it will be any good on a
track. Go and find out which the pos is supposed to be good at then
    come back and tell us.

I'm sure I must be due a MIBOB number by now. I've got black leathers,
boots, gloves & helmet plus two black bikes (soon to be three when I
spray Pinkie). What else do I have to do - an inverse Michael Jackson?
    That she is.

  15. In uk.rec.motorcycles, Krusty belched forth and ejected the following:
Actually, for what it is, yes. It doesn't stay put for long either and
needs re-applying to keep the effect.

What you want is Hammerite with coal dust in it.

    Come to think of it...

Gertrude is about the same ratio: 66bhp and 330 Kg.

Now that puts it into perspective!
