This coke in the tank thing...

    How long should I leave it?

    And would dropping in a couple of Mentos help?

    I'm very annoyed that I managed to damage the tank transporting it to
    the coke :-(

    4 hours wasn't enough.

    I'll blow another 1.70's worth of coke next weekend having another go.
    At least the tap runs free now.
    I trialed my mentos power loader today, much to the lad's delight.

    Bottle top drilled to accept length of rigid plastic tubing that reaches
    almost to the bottom of the bottle and sticks a couple of inches out of
    the top. Tube hot-glued into top to hold in place and seal it and then
    tube cross-drilled to allow coke easy egress route.

    The problem of how to get the mentos in is solved by loading them onto
    the tube. OK, you feel a bit of a cock stood in the drive using one of
    Mr DeWalt's finest to drill clearance holes in mints but the end result
    is worth it.
