Mrs Eaton has just expressed an interest in learning to ride a
    motorcycle...

Looks like CBT / DAS will be on the menu come the Spring.

Nigel Eaton emerged from their own little world to say
DAS on the Blingmobile. That would be a laugh.

Hmm... It's only 97BHP over the limit. I could take four plug leads off,
    I suppose.

    Oh ****.

    <bangs head on keyboard>

I've never had to deal with all this complicated stuff. It was "ride
round the block" in my day.

    OK, Blingmobile it is.

It's very un-PC, but I do see a lot of what I call "taggers-on" in
couples. He's into bikes, so she gets a bike, so they can go out for
a ride together. Except, she can't keep up with him, so they ride at
a compromise pace where he's pissed off cos he's going too slow and
she's unhappy cos she's feeling under pressure to go faster than she's
comfortable with. So everyone's unhappy. I've seen the same thing in
    snowboarding too.

ISTM that it's always the women who want to join in the man's hobby.
    Why is this?

I think this is the reason I've seen most often. Some women seem to
dislike their fella going off on the bike for a day. They don't
appreciate that for many men, love you as we do, we like to get away
    for a while.
Psshhah. Indoctrinated to keeps tabs on us, more like.
