  4. nah. R90S in orange.

Actually, I've always rather liked the look of the R69S, with the Earles
fork an' all. Probably a bitch to ride, though.

Then have a look at this: 220102824043

The K-RS's are now at the bottom of the desirability curve, not old
enough to fetch classic top money. In any case, they were technically
fairly advanced for their time, which may make it even more difficult
for them to be looked upon as "classic" bikes.

    Grey actually, for me.
Been tempted by a pre /5 from time to time but sanity prevailed so far.

  11. Umm... doesn't ring a bell, but is that not the one with the shite
    remote master cylinder?

I suppose the new owner now has the joy of cracking discs and wearing
    splines to look forward to.

Possibly, but I'd thought that if you put a bike like that back on the
road again, you wouldn't get time to worry about the cracking disks
until you had sorted out the perished oil seals various inaccessible
    places on (in) it?

I'd rather have an R-RS with much more on the clock, and that had
regularly got new service parts (for about half the money). Then you
could justify using it, rather than put in a planning application for a
    museum.
