On a similar note, I've been in Belgium with the girlfriend all weekend,
nowhere near a keyboard, so anyone who thinks I've been frogging can

It was a pisstake that I'll concede went on a bit longer than it should
have done. Not so long that Ace, for one, wasn't laughing like a drain
throughout, I might add.

Given the degree of character-assassination posted in my absence over
this thread already, it's a bit late I wouldn't try to stop anyone
posting the not-particularly-gory details of Verdun on my account. The
aggrieved party, otoh, may feel differently so I'm keeping schtum.

I'm quite amused how much coverage this is all getting from what is
basically a fairly mild bit of trolling by at least a semi-regular.

Naah, if anyone was out to assassinate your character they could do a

not true, Adie didn't join in. The piss taking started on the boat but
I was in the bar and not the restaurant so I missed the start.

 

There's a price to pay for all the megabucks you earn and it's not
being able to go on a clique trip to France. Not a high price imo
because Simon Kenyon chose to empty his parents loft rather than come
along.
