For the benefit of not upsetting whoever was pissed off.

But it appears to be one big wind up, so we're not even going to see
    badly veiled death threats now.

  2. In uk.rec.motorcycles, Ginge amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom:
It would be something to know /who/ was pissed off.
Damn, and there's me thinking that if it went to email it'd be like
reading this but in a different medium.

If either of those two people would like to drop me an email to let me know
who on earth they are, I'll add them to my as-yet empty list of people to
avoid. Because, contrary to your earlier assertation, I'm buggered if I know.

Who knows, one day it may. In the meantime, take your thinly veiled threats
    and go **** yourself, eh?

    I haven't lost my mind, it's
backed up to a floppy disc
    that's around here somewhere.

*waves* I can add one more (not me!) but it's for something not related to
    here :)

I expect Ogger's is flattered he has (any) this effect on people.

I think Bear might have already included Ogdens ex.
I'll bet he's more interested in working out when he scored the
    winning goal.

More bewildered than flattered. What *are* you on about?

ROTFL... I wouldn't worry too much Ogden - he never turns up when you make
it known you'll actually be turning up somewhere he normally frequents.

Err, there were two halves to that couple, I doubt either one of them
wants to read this sort of stuff on a newsfroup.

  13. <heh!> SJ Perelman once wrote a short story where a character asked a
tobacconist for a cigar and as he bent down to retrieve one from under
the counter the character observed something like, "He had the sort of shiny
bald head that just begged to have a tomahawk buried in it."

  15. Amongst other things, he wrote for the Marx Brothers. Bizarrely,
and at some very advanced age, he was a passenger on the only plane ever
to be hijacked in Australian airspace.
