18:53 and 18:17 for a two lap stint on a 6R. Not too shabby.

The pistol plugs in where the controller goes and is equipped with
various buttons around the grip for different functions, such as reload
and fire, when playing things like Die Hard. You sort of learn which
buttons do what and can use the gun almost as a controller. Makes
    playing Tekken fun.

Sounds tricky but reasonable. When it came to duelling with fishing rods I
liked the randomness as I didn't have the patience to see if specific swings
could get consistent results. I suppose half the fun is doing it while both
    participants are pissed.

Of course we were pissed, why else would we try playing Tekken with a
    fucking light-gun?

Totally agree. I've played that on and off this its first inception, its
superb. Needs a decent wheel mind.

actually, no. It's not mine, it's one of the kid's (he paid for it
himself about 20 minutes after they came out). The games are good, but
no better than the 360, and in terms of "hours of enjoyment / cost"
the Wii has them both knocked into a cocked hat.

mine was 2 weeks out of warranty, but for the "ring of death", they've
extended the warranty to 3 years.

What do you actually do with the Wii? I got bored of Wii Sports after a
few days, Eledees lasted me the thick end of a week, and I never really
got into Tiger Woods 2008. Are there any games particularly worth
    buying?

    Zelda.

    Metroid Prime.

It's not mine, I just play it now and then, but for some reason (well,
the unusual controller) the games are great fun.
