How would we know when you're clicking?

  2. As soon as I click on this ng, Xananews freezes and has to be killed.
It's ok with all my other groups. Anybody else had this problem?

I occasionally have problems posting when the thread seems to be
getting to long but other than that, I can read UKRM fine.

    Maybe it needs more memory?

  6. No problems here, but I reckon this might work around the issue for
    you:-

    1. Right click UKRM in the newsgroup pane on the left.
    2. Select Unsubscribe... and click "Yes" when asked if you want to
delete all stored messages in UKRM.
    3. Re-subscribe to the group and select "Get new messages".

No. Although clicking URL's takes a few seconds before it launches the

    Nope.

I switched to Xananews 'cos Thunderbird and OE(Quotefix) both had
minor, niggly problems with 'large' newsgroups, Xananews has been rock
    steady since I installed it.

Click Tools, then Messagebase Management, then select "more than a
month old" (or less if you desire) and do a clean up.
