My Sprint was calibrated to a ludicrous 320kph.
It had 5 and 10 kph lines and numbers every 20kph.
This was all on a dial that wasn't much larger than the diameter of a
baked-bean tin so it was impossible to accurately read over 200 anyway!!

Nah, that¹s not nearly as funny as pointing at IK when he talks of
auto-fellatio. Jeez I hope he drinks beer.....

How else are they going to find people willing to put up with long
hours, lousy shifts, and low pay? They have to offer the perks of
catheters, debriding tools, and all the enemas you can give...

Thus proving the long held belief that all nurses have a sadistic streak!

They do nothing to prevent ankle breakage as they do not prevent the
ankle from rotating in directions it was never intended to go. Had a
friend last year do his ankle wearing his Army issue boots. No real
prevention from sideways rotation, result is torn ligaments at a
    minimum.

  10. I didn't realise Brisbane was considered "country"?

Nor do the Gaernes - only the full on race boots are armoured enough to do that
and I bought the road version (given I don't race) which while armoured and
padded don't have the exoskeleton stuff. My hiking boot will give almost the
same protection as the gaernes - the only difference is the bike boots are
longer and hence protect the shin.
