Been to the hospital to be pushed, prodded, de-blooded, wired up and
ridiculed today. The doc reckons he's 95% certain I had a TIA and I
    shouldn't worry about it....yeah fucking right. I'm on 75mg of Aspirin a
day. As a further precaution he's booked me to have a scan and told me I
can't fly to Gran Canaria for the sales meeting that is planned if it's
before I have my scan. Ho hum, guess that's a trip I'll most likely be
missing then, I wouldn't have been able to get pissed there with my
colleagues anyway. I woke this morning to find I have a modicum of
feeling in my left hand now, but that comes with the added bonus of pins
and needles, which I'm told will pass soon.

The doc also told me I must give up smoking, drink less coffee, take
more exercise and relax/de-stress more. He's obviously totally unaware
of what kind of life a sales rep leads. Lifestyle changes, don't ya just
    love 'em.

So in short, I'm not dead.

You could have saved some of the wait and been ridiculed here.

    Oh, well done too.

On the mend then, take it easy. :)
Life style changes can be fun. I'm considering one myself at the moment,
    not so radical though.
    Good.

It all depends on whether his stroke was an upward or downward one.

You need an outlet for honest, clean fun. Taunting Pip with the
    marmite jar might do it.

As I've said in the past, the *OSMs sort themselves really. I'm just a

  19. Jennifer keeps trying to put some in our trolley. the last time she
got some it was on the condition that I *never* got *any* on my paws
and if I did then she'd get a handfull smeared down her face.

trouble was, when it happened I couldn't put myself through the trauma
of putting my paw in the vile stuff.

it gets taken out of the trolley now.
