Been to the hospital to be pushed, prodded, de-blooded, wired up and ridiculed today. The doc reckons he's 95% certain I had a TIA and I shouldn't worry about it....yeah fucking right. I'm on 75mg of Aspirin a day. As a further precaution he's booked me to have a scan and told me I can't fly to Gran Canaria for the sales meeting that is planned if it's before I have my scan. Ho hum, guess that's a trip I'll most likely be missing then, I wouldn't have been able to get pissed there with my colleagues anyway. I woke this morning to find I have a modicum of feeling in my left hand now, but that comes with the added bonus of pins and needles, which I'm told will pass soon. The doc also told me I must give up smoking, drink less coffee, take more exercise and relax/de-stress more. He's obviously totally unaware of what kind of life a sales rep leads. Lifestyle changes, don't ya just love 'em. So in short, I'm not dead.
