But does it keep the bisuits dry and your toes warm?

And clearly, in neither case does it stop you telling other people
    they shouldn't do so either.
You may not, but that doesn't mean the same is true of others. I, for
one, really enjoy hooning around twisty roads at 140+ mph and don't
need to 'justify' my choice of bike to you.
    You're just old, is all.

I don't ever recall asking you to. Self expressed vanity is in no short
supply around here, sitting back and waiting is often enough.

All!! You have no idea, it is not what it is cracked up to be I can
    assure you.

Still on the bright side, statistically speaking, you lot are going to
get a lot older than I ever will so you will suffer for longer. My pot
    is half full.

Aye, and don't forget yer jim-hams and yer wee-willy-winky hat for
    sleeping in.

I know I'm not as young as I was. I bought a lovely jacket at the
weekend and while I was there saw some lovely socks. "Oooh", I said.
"You've got some good quality kit in here".

Loz, why don't you just have a go on my bike. You can switch it in and out
    to see the difference.

I was sorting out my winter kit today, most of it is too big for me now :(.

    Pass the pies.

    Wear more jumpers.
No problem but I'd pass on the "hand snacks". They taste like they're
coated in that partially hydrogenated vegetable oil shite that chips
shops use to fry their chips in.

Still, if you want an expanding waistline/breastline/otherline then
    the'll be ideal.

    I do.

On the V Strom they've remapped the throttle openings in the first 3
gears, and the TRE undoes that and makes 100% throttle available in all
    gears.

    I likes it.

    For ?25 its worth it.

There are cheap ones out there (and this sounds like its one of them)
that don't bother "turning back on" the manufacturers map when the
bikes in neutral, hence bad idling.

But mine makes a big difference :)

and sunny, i feel a FOT coming on...

    Hi guys,

Well, me neither, so a nice dry day after a day or three of heavy rain to
wash away all the salt and muck away.
I am on the borders of Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, 5 mins to M3 J4, or
    about 20 mins to M4 J10.
    Where are you two ?

So fairly well located for a FOT (Aylesbury) or even a Wednesday evening
Avebury run (in the summer, only Gyp goes there in the winter).

I'm in Milton Keynes and Molly doesn't live too far away (or used to?)

The BOTAFOT run traditionally goes from Aylesbury, through Buckingham
and ends up at a cafe/pub somewhere.
