Tipping it in

    Nothing too scary, just a vague feel from them.

    It does indeed sort itself out, and any tyre on gravel is going to
    feel squiffy.

    They are just much much better in the dry than wet, as they are semi
    knobbly.

    Yes, on an Aprilia RSV Tuono quite recently: D208RR 190 to D208RR 180.
    At first I wasn't sure if it wasn't just a placebo effect combined
    with simply fitting a new tyre, but now I'm sure: the steering's more
    neutral, it feels lighter and just more fun. Also I personally don't
    like having to lean on the 'bars to turn in the wet; it just feels so
    much nicer and more confidence-inspiring now.

    Aprilia actually recommend a D208 190 for road use and a D208RR 180
    for race use on RSVs.

    I bitterly regret bottling out of trying it on my old TLR: I reckon it
    would have transformed the handling.
