The blue title is what it says.. clean and legal with the owner .. The
salvage title is on a bike that the insurance company has totalled in most
cases.. Someone bought the bike and went to the trouble and expense to
reclaim it and do the necessary repairs to make it street legal.. An
insurance co . can total a bike for many different reasons and stages of
damage.. commenceing with a broken wheel to wrecked out to mangled frame..
depends somewhat on the type of bike and the repairablity cost.. The other
title, I am not certain about, maybe someone else can step up on that one...

I'm looking for a used sportbike and have come across some title references
I don't understand. One bike refered to having a "clean blue title."
Another has a Texas Certificate of Title with the remarks "Actual mileage.
Rebuilt Salvage." In another place I read a reference about a green title
(that site wasn't referring to bikes). I looked through TxDot's web site
with no luck; the only answer I found was to call a number I can't call from
    work.

What's the difference between a blue title and green?

How bad does a bike have to be wrecked to get a salvage title? To get a
rebuilt salvage title does it have to be inspected by the state?

If anyone can shed any light on this I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for the reply! That clears things up quite a bit. I haven't
contacted the owner of the bike with the rebuilt salvage title because the
previous owner listed on the title is a company associated with
gambling...too many weird things on that title for me (although maybe it's
perfectly normal for companies to buy sportbikes?). It's a shame...it's a
    great looking bike.
