may not have been a good one for some..

For me it's been the end of a three and a half month odessy, involving
excrutiating pain, numerous things shoved up where the sun don't shine in
rapid succession [0], lots of head scratching and a business probably going
    down the pan.[1]

The consultant just called with the results of yesterdays test - apparently
I'm going to live. The bloody great fist sized lump that showed up in the
MRI scan two months ago whilst they were trying to figure out what was wrong
with me [2] is a 'duplicate organ' growth which has probably always been
there, and the previously undiscovered kidney stone maybe a mild buggerance
    at some point.

I think I might have a glass or three tonight.

[0] During one test it felt like and sounded like a bicycle pump
[1] Contrary to popular belief you have to work at these things - 2.5 months
with the eye off the ball, combined with bombings in London and Riots in
Paris don't bode well for someone selling tourism in these two cities . . .
    [3]
[2] They thought I had cancer - turned out to be a particuly vicious virus.
I lost all my reflex muscles and didn't have a non drug induced dump for
nearly six weeks combined with severe shingles type pain in my skin all over
    my body.
[3] **** it - I'll deal with that next week.

  3. Well done, I suppose, although it's a bitch about the knock-on effect on the
biz. At least you can go at it full-tilt from now on. Good luck.
