I'd guess not. If you already had a Z400 that you wanted to tidy up, it
/might/ be worth buying it for the parts, but otherwise...

Does he really think that third photo (of a couple of boxes of bits) is
going to encourage anyone to bid?

Ace was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
Mebbe Petrolcan is really worried about the availability of spares?
If that. My guess would be a lot lower, actually...

The starting price is what the TC selling the bike has started it at.

    Yes but it is,

    "re cromeing"
so its not all bad news.. :)

The thing is, I'd actually be tempted if it were a more reasonable
price (like about 300 quid) because I'm looking for another project
and he's done the expensive stuff. But I expect he's set the reserve
    close to 750.

For about 300-350 I'd have a punt, take it home, rootle around and see
if it could be built up, and if not, flog the various bits and bobs
individually- the exhausts have got to be worth a ton a side to
someone, for example, and we all know what decent mudguards fetch.

But he thinks that because he's spent a grand, it's worth a grand....
