After ten consecutive days of cleaning out a house we\njust sold, I chose to get out on the bike today.\n\nI began with a short ride to the Texaco station at NW\nhiway & Abrams for some fuel.\n\nFrom there, I proceeded to the tire store at NW hiway\n& Lullwater, for a tire check. Unfortunately, they were\nclosed today, probably for the Superbowl holiday. So,\nI set out for my standby air supplier at the Columbia\ntire store. These guys are open 24/7, or it seems that\nway. The only problem is very few speak english. Not\nthat I need a lot of communication with them for a tire\ncheck, but it would be nice to exchange a little conver-\nsation while there.\n\nAfter determining the tires checked out OK(which is\nsurprising after the long dormant period, and the colder\ntemperatures), I headed towards Keller's on NW hi-\nway.\n\nOnce there, I see there are many bikes. As I look\naround, I see Big Ed waving to me. So, I order my\nstandardized drink and began visiting with Ed. We\ndiscussed motorcycles, airplanes, tires, people from\nthis group(how is Bill Walker anyway?), and just about\nanything that could be made into a conversation subject.\n\nEd was there with a friend riding a 2004 Sportster. Me\nand the very friendly Sportster owner talked about the\nHarley's, the Harley dealerships, and his Sportster. The\nSportster has always been my favorite Harley model.\nBut, all my Harley buddies(at least most of them) have\nalways talked down the Sportster as too small, or even\nas being a girls bike. ??\n\nAs the time approached for the Superbowl game. Ed and\nhis friend, as well as many others departed. I also left the\nKeller's property. But, I rode out to NWhiway and the\nintersection of Centerville, to look for a couple of cars\nwe'd discussed earlier.\n\nFrom there, I took Centerville over to SH66, and head-\ned west on 66 to transition into Forest Lane. From there\nI turned south on Abrams, and followed it home.\n\nAll in all, I had a great ride, with some welcome weather\nfor an early February. My total mileage was exactly 41.5.\n\nNo secondary fuel stops were required.\n\nBTW.... Ed also informed me that Louie had bought a\nnew Yamaha Stratoliner:\nhttp://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/crop-460x307/stratoliner_aw.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.topspeed.com/motorcycles/motorcycle-reviews/yamaha/2007-yamaha-stratoliner-ar11689.html&h=307&w=460&sz=23&hl=en&start=2&tbnid=h_RajXJhzoNgmM:&tbnh=85&tbnw=128&prev=/images%3Fq%3D%252B%2522yamaha%2Bstratoliner%2522%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG\n\nIt's a fine looking bike, and is probably just as flawless\nto ride.\n\n\nThanks.
