This last little while I've been practising a little in the fields on the Beta that I bought from Brownz. My slow riding's definitely got better with a year and a bits worth of London commuting. I can even hold it stationary for what feels like ages[1]. The bike runs a whole lot better now I've put the *cough* correct mix in it. I wondered why it was dripping black oil everywhere. Anyways, whilst going up a lickle slope in it, I changed up, into a false neutral. The bike pretty much stopped dead. As I wasn't anticipating it, I kind of went forwards, a bit. Of course I was wearing full safety gear.[4] I am now nursing two singed knees where they landed on the very hot exhaust. I are mostly a cc. [1] Probably about a second.[2] [2] I'm beginning to think I ain't never going to learn to wheelie properly. I can get the front wheel up a little, but then once it's up in the air[3] I'm convinced it's going to loop over my head, and I back off. [3] about 1mm I suspect. [4] Shorts, T-shirt, trainers.
