  1. Hope that's all, though doubtless other bits will start to ache.
    exactly

Fortuitously you appear to have escaped mostly unscathed, anything
else is only money and inconvenience.

  2. It might. But we've reported it to each other, and therefore don't need
to report it to anyone else.

  11. If it does, then so does every little "oops!" when you drop it while
    manoeuvring in a car park.

so many more style points to be won by crashing on a straight road or
parking the bike in a river :)

has it been declared dead yet or is still up for some more punishment from
    you?

I've done more damage over the last 5 years by bikes falling off their
side stands or paddock stands than by lobbing them down the road. I
think that might mean I'm a bit of a clumsy ****...

Verdigris emerged from their own little world to say

I think the call centre is operated by Axa, the breakdown service
underwriter. The 01737 STD code is Redhill where they are based. They
provide similar cover to over 2 million UK motorists through all sorts of
    third parties.

When you sign an insurance contract you agree to allow the companies to
share information which gets around the Data Protection Act. So, I think it
is sensible to assume that Carol Nash will use information from Axa to
    calculate renewal premiums.

So they'd be basing a part of your premiums on your usage of a service that
they claim to provide free of charge?

platypus emerged from their own little world to say
They don't say it is free. Included, yes.

    From http://www.carolenash.com/motorcycle.asp

"All our motorcycle policies in the UK and Ireland come with Carole Nash
breakdown cover, 'Green Card' cover for touring in Europe and up to £50,000
    of legal protection."

The T&Cs limit the no. of callouts on the breakdown cover to 4 a year
anyway. If someone makes 4 callouts in a year then, if I was Carole Nash, I
would be loading their premium come renewal time in the hope that they
    fucked off elsewhere.
