Granted its probably a laugh but got the chance of one of these, had a look,
all straight has V5 and kicked over 2nd kick? !!

It'll be piss poor slow being a Villiers 150cc but for some reason i like
the idea of it for pootling about the urban areas in the summer?

Any clues at all? I know the minimum it is asking, just wondered if you had
    any ideas?

Are you sure it has a Villiers engine? A mate of mine had one of these
until about 4 yrs ago with an AMC motor fitted, he sold it locally to us
    as well.

The AMC motor was fitted to the later ones I believe.

I had years ago that I stripped the badly corroded bathtub body off and
replaced with some steel struts - the whole thing was compressed down with a
landrover chassis whislt being bolted up. I had a lot of fun thrashing round
the fields for a summer - until the the flywheel dropped off and nearly took
the old man's central heating boiler motor out. He wasn't amused. [1]

Probably not much help I know, but I paid £2 for it and £12 for a new piston
    back in 1973.

    [1] Think Captain Mainwaring (sp?)

Seeing the engine and the Villiers mark on it kinda gave it away :)

Well, its all original, has the dual seat, (seen some online with single
seats) and bodywork is all sound. there is a mark right between the forks
on the mudguard so will need a very small patch but thats it. It has what
appears to be an original double pannier rack but no panniers but the missus
could knock some up with the old singer machine im sure. Theres also a
slight scuff to the right side of the petrol tank, but thats all, and the
left side of the chrome rim on the headlight has had a knock but again not
major. rear light lens is missing and one of the 3 bulbs is also missing.
The only other thing i can see wrong are the right rear peg has the rubber
missing and the stand needs a new spring to keep it up tight to the frame.
Brakes seem to work, gears engage, etc.

Its asking £350 for all this!
Cant braze or weld to save my life, though i know a man that can :)

    ****.
Well, ive just been down to the local auction house, which is where it was
sat for a reserve of 350, due to the guy who bought it last week not having
stumped up the cash, hence back in the auction according to the auctioneers
    own terms and conditions.

    Guess what?
The original buyer only fucking turned up and the auctioneer believed
    whatever excuses he gave.

    **** **** ****, i was really looking forward to that too :-<
