Thinking of getting shut of my bandit again.

    Bandit 1200 02 plate 2002 K1
    silver
    6500 miles
    slight chips to grab rail
all original parts available but has a race can, mini indicators and a belly
    pan on at the mo
    Datatool veto 3 alarm system
new 020's and new chain and sprockets.

Should I put all the OE stuff back on or just show it to the buyer to show
    its not been dropped?

    Many thanks

  2. Sounds like it's worth 3k all day long, if it's really clean, but you'd
do better to put it back to stock and flog the bits on Ebay.

Lots of people personalise Bindits, and no two are alike, so the odds
are that your mods are less likely to appeal to an individual buyer than
    a completely stock one.

"Well, I'd replace those bits anyway...." sort of thing.

Touch in the grabrail chips, as well.

That's typical mileage from a Bandit 12's origial equipment chain and
sprockets. They aren't the best quality from factory, built with a
budget in mind rather than longevity.

Best replaced with DID ZVM chain, which lasts a whole lot longer.

That RK W-ring chain I have on the ZRX is bearing up well. No
stretching at all in 7000 miles.

RK is ok as well. I wouldn't even think of buying an EK chain though.

Looking at GSXR's again but maybe only a six instead of the 750.
