That news makes me feel quite sad. Not John Peel levels of sad but sad
all the same.

 

I suppose he's going to morph into a pile of ashes soon.

I didn't, but I felt terribly, terribly sad. It was just the
disappearance of someone who gave some sort of shape to my life when I
was younger. Not a role model, but a guy whose actions were just a
constant backdrop to what was then my biking apprenticeship.

Of course, Johnny Morris would have enlisted a talking lion or something
on his side.

 

Tony would have called in Jack "Nails" Hargreaves who'd have had that
lion skinned, butchered and turned into biltong before you could gasp
"How?"
