Why do I get the impression that Richard Hammond is morphing into David Essex?
He's not 'right', is he. He's had a strange, vacant look in his eyes since the crash. I'm not sure what's going on with the hair either. -- Krusty www.MuddyStuff.co.uk Off-Road Classifieds '02 MV Senna '03 Tiger 955i '96 Tiger '79 Fantic Hiro 250
Excellent. I prefer that (and suitable for a sig. as well). I hope his ganglia aren't permanently scrambled.
Because he is? Hammond's OK, as is Clarkson, but James May is seriously funny ... sometimes. A lot of it seems a bit contrived, but the Alfa test in the last one was very good ... full of soul and passion ... -- Paul - xxx '96/'97 Landrover Discovery 300 Tdi 'Big and Butch' '98 Suzuki DR 200 Djebel 'Small but perfectly formed' Dyna Tech Cro-Mo comp "When I feel fit enough'
James May who's life's work is making Bertie Wooster look intelligent. And what really pisses me off is that brain dead idiot gets paid handsomely for his efforts.
That's just a contrivance - probably at Clarkson's instigation, who has to be seen to be top dog in the act. May's no dummy, that's for sure - got a seriously deep look about him and I've no doubt he could run rings round the other two if he felt like it. -- Dave GS850x2 XS650 SE6a Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the river cleaned out in a day.
Hammond and May both ride bikes. Clarkson's public persona hates them, and won't allow them on the programme. It's his show, and that's all there is to it.

On Wed, 21 Nov 2007 22:54:25 GMT, "Krusty" There's definitely something odd about him now. Sometimes when they're doing their "standing about in the studio" bit he sort of barges in with a not-quite related comment as if he's suddenly remembered there's something he's meant to say, but not *when* he's meant to say it. I guess his memory is still suffering? I presumed that was why the studio based bits of the show sounded more scripted than they have done in the past. That said, anyone who can run 16 miles in less than three hours, in the dark, in torrential rain, just isn't right anyway, even taking into account their ramming their brain into the ground at excessive speeds less than a year earlier.
<perks> SWMBO reckons I look a bit like him. Particularly the eyes, she says. Unfortunately, I look a bit like he does *now*. -- +-------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pete Fisher at Home: | | Voxan Roadster Gilera Nordwest Yamaha WR250Z | | Gilera GFR * 2 Moto Morini 2C/375 | +-------------------------------------------------------------+
Leathers to match the eyes (if you could see them ).
