There are strong rumours he's the new Stig. Probably a publicity act.

 

Haven't there always been rumours that he was one of The Stigs? Not
that it really matters.. it's Top Gear!!!

Yay! I actually looked at the clock at one point yesterday & thought
"only 48 hours 32 minutes to go". Which is probably a bit sad.
