  1. Was it just me, or were there NO reviews whatsoever this week?

Dear oh dear. They usually manage at least one! Last week's USA
    special was good, though.

    Nope, there weren't any.
Why on earth is it a problem? They usually only ever review exotica
    outside almost everyones reach anyway.

    I don't care.

I just want an Avantime to play with.

  7. Meh, it's not a big problem. They already nod to the fact on air.

Other gripes - the leccy wheelchair was dull, the rally driving was
dull, and the Marky Mark interview was also pretty dull.

The Avantine tuning was interesting enough, though they did waste time
having them turn up in their (own) Aston and Porsches.

    Pretty poor overall :/

    I found that quite interesting
and I found that quite amusing
And Marky Mark was easily the most interesting guest they've have in
ages. FFS, last week it was some twat off the x factor or something!

Missed that bit. Doing the "watch with mother" thing and she likes Antiques
    Roadshow.
AOL. MH came across as an affable chap. JM has a presenting style that I
find amusing. He should be given more solo projects as I'm getting rather
    bored with the other ones.

AOL. I'm really bad, name drop, name drop...
But, but, every home should have a nice, middle class, 20 something,
promiscuous, homosexual. Plus, he was quite quick in the wet, apparently.

I quite like the Avantime. I think it deserved to do better in the market,
but it's a big odd-looking two-door plastic thing. And by ****, it looked
flat-out weird with the different wheels on.

Are we on about that Renault thing that looks a bit like the old Vel
Satis, but even uglier? I hope it goes the same way as the Vel Satis
did, and they only sold about 6 of those in the UK.

If I'd bought the Multipla for purely stylistic reasons, I wouldn't have
kept it for seven years and 100,000 miles. Also - and this is irrefutable
proof that the Multipla is a superb, stylish car - Laura misses it more than
her parents, and expects to be the next owner of it.

The Avantime sold considerably lesser than the Vel Satis, both in the UK and
everywhere else, and was discontinued in 2003. The Vel Satis is still in
production, although no longer imported into the UK.

Not wanting to become the Will Young appreciation society (he murdered
Jim Morrison) but he's been the only "Pop Idol" to move from manufactured
TV Pop to a self sustained career delivering soulful TV Pop. All fairly
harmless but he appears fairly shrewd at dealing with the music business.

Although, I'm rather surprised you've become the random voice of bile.

Lemar seems on track to follow in his footsteps. Though he was a Fame
Academy reject, iirc, rather than a Cowell construction.

Lets face it, the very idea of a Renault "executive car" is pretty
laughable. An MPV coupé even more so.

We definitely need 'Folk racing' in the UK.
Certainly the highest bleep factor for a while.

The 'tuning' an unsuitable Renault bit was amusing, if a little
predictable in parts. The resurrection of 25% of the lost original power
for little more than a good service was the most important message of
    the piece IMO.

Overall, I found it very entertaining.
