I imagine that if I had to use the phrases "this stuff that works well
with that stuff" and "a chance to do some stuff that will make the
company some much-needed money" a lot at work, I might look for some
shorthand words. Things like "synergy" and "leverage opportunity",
    perhaps.

It somehow sound okay with an Irish accent, though.

I'm not sure it's been solutioned in enough detail yet, we don't want
    a disjoin here, do we?

We seem to have all our ducks singing from the same hymnsheet.

Not yet ascertained. What's the most copacetic to-be scenario,
    solutioneering-wise?

I also hate those fucking ducks, and also "interlock" - which seems
to be used in place of about a dozen different things, by people who
don't understand what anyone actuially does, for example "We'll have
to look at the interlock between Steve's team and the DBA group."

    Anyway, moving forward...

    From my collection:

From 1966: Blonde on Blonde sounds superb and The Who Sell Out is /good/.

Some Jazz: Kind of Blue recorded in two days in 1957 is flawlessly
recorded as is The Brandenberg Concerto in B Major conducted by Karl
Richter (1968). Listen to it and then listen to Elanor Rigby for an
example of ham fisted recording at it's best.

oh, I liked it at the time, but I wouldn't consider listening to it
    now.

I'm currently mostly listening to the latest Ulrich Schnauss.

when people do that, I can't help thinking that they'd be better off
working in TGI Fridays (cf. Catherine Tate)

The thing I find myself doing, is using craply phrased English because
I know the French will understand it better than properly phrased
    English. Gggrhhh.

I do my best to avoid it, but it's endemic here.

You'd fucking love[1] it here. We have one French PM now who peppers
every sentence with a "synergize" or "leverage" or "actionalize"[2].
And he ends every meeting with the same excruciating gung-ho phrase
(issued in a jist-like-theeze French accent): "Guys, are we good to
    go? Let's ROLL!!"

    [1] hahah.
[2] the French seem to be keen on making up fake English verbs where
perfectly acceptible words meaning the same thing already exist -
    "securitize" is a favourite.

hey, "disjoin" isn't /quite/ as bad as "disconnect", IMO.
