When pulling down hard on a Bandit's bottom chain run and feeling for
graunchiness at the front sprocket end, whilst slowly feeding the chain
into the rear sprocket by hand, remember to remove your thumb before it
gets trapped between chain and rear sprocket.

    That is all.

Yes, it only hurts a little, but it could have been worse. I was wearing
    thick gloves.

A thumb shouldn't be able to lift a chain off a sprocket, honestly.

Hmm... That lowers the comedy value quite considerably. Can you try
    again?

Fair enough, just thought I'd ask.

Dunnit just. I have been wracking what bits of me brain that still work
to try and wangle a funny out of thick gloves but it only really works
in reference to the mongvan. Now if it were Marigolds...

and this time have someone stand by with the camera.

These are thick wooly gloves with rubber nipply bits on the palms and
fingers. As supplied by Avon Tyres to their fitting depots.
    Umm...no.

Give good grip do they? I can think of more than a few guitar players
round here who might be interested in them.

Hypocrite, you are among the first to look at the crash vids when the
    links are posted.

Good grip, but lacking in feel.
It's only funny when it happens to someone else.

  16. Wotcha.
Should you perform this trick, or one very similar, whilst the air
temperature is well below freezing, then there is a good chance you don't
really notice the damage done until you sit down with a nice cup of coffee a
    few hours later.

"Where's all this blood coming from?" ---- ah, I see.

...........or so I've been told ;-)
