Top tip- MBA recommendations

Do not, under any circumstances, agree to give a reference to an
American university for someone applying for an MBA course.

The fuckers seem to demand an essay, it's taken me close to an hour to
do two references this evening. Grr.

 

Large corporations love them. [1]

He's a young guy I've worked with over the last four years. He's sold
on wanting to do this and has asked for my help. I've quizzed him over
whether it's the right thing for him and he's convinced. I'm going to
do everything (within reason) that I can to help him.

I've come across a few people with MBAs that are good. More that are
probably no better for having an MBA. The best ones seem to have done
the MBAs full time at a decent school... however I think that the fact
they got through the selection round was the important thing- I think
they'd have been as good without the MBA (although with fewer 'tools' in
their repertoire)

 

While I am bound to agree with your statement I have noted of others
that 3 years part time requires considerably more dedication and hard
work MOIWYW
