  1. Christ; they've dropped the entry requirements a lot since my day.

Begs the question; how the **** did *you* get in then? By the back door?

  3. Bloody safety nazis! The wiring in my house is all diagonal.

Apparently, Franco wouldn't let them have much cable, so they had to be
economical with it. Shortest route donchaknow.

I didn't deny you were right. There aren't any underground cables ran
into my house and given that the common use of 'Ring Main' includes
circuits within a house I don't believe my usage was completely
incorrect. In my case there aren't any underground cables feeding my
    house.
Know everything, no. Know more about this subject than you or I, yes.
The IEE doesn't have a Board of Directors and the people elected to
serve are elected as individuals by the membership, not put in place by
companies. Call it a guess but I doubt you're a member of the IEE.
I knew exactly what risks I was running as I ran them. What would have
got me killed in this case wasn't ignorance, it was complacancy/laziness
and a lack of attention (due to being complacent.) Pretty much the same
risks I run when I ride a bike really.

Yes. I'd rather do something else for a living. Something with decent
    working conditions.

You can have my cutters the day you pry them from my warm, still
    smoking, blackened hand.

  10. They have got better. Allegedly.

I still wouldn't trust my life to one.

So you have a TT supply! but many dont, housing estates etc are fed by a
circuit under ground known as a ring main! Ring mains are used to spread the
load evenly on the supply cables!

MK have helped dvelope the regs over the years, one of there big earners
from this was tooling up for the 3 pole fan isolator a long time before any
other manufacturer even new the regulation for isolating fans in bathrooms
was going to be amended, thus charging the earth for the poxy switches
because you couldnt buy them from anyone else!!!

Why the **** would you want too!

    Just think of the money!

You really are an excitable little girl, Robs. Try using a full stop
(or period, your Mummy will tell you all about them) instead of
exclamation marks all the time. You ignorant, semi-literate fuckhead.

Once again, a new poster with a patently false email address proves
    the fuckhead point.
