Yeah, they'll tell you the blisters have to be burst and you'll end up with
    worse scarring.

When the burns bloke said to me "We'll have to burst those blisters", my
reply was "Then I'l have to burst your head". He left them alone and the
ones that burst on their own left scars, where the ones that slowly dried up
    were a lot less noticable.
Funnily enough, that's the first thought I had when I had an op on my
shoulder a couple of weeks ago, particularly when I saw the hand cleaners
outside most doors in the hospital being totally ignored by just about
    everyone. Nurses and doctors included.

I think the phrase is "NAHAY?". I don't like spending time queuing for
    anything; especially in hospitals.

The blisters have gone down on 2 out of three fingers and none have
popped yet; despite riding a bike for 120 miles today. I have put a
plaster on one to be fair though.

The pain's mostly gone and all I'm left with is a sense of irritation.
I've not burnt myself in *ages* and on Sunday I did three fingers on my
left hand and two on my right (right hand was an incident with a
    fire...)

Still, looking on the bright side, could have been worse.
    Not if I don't go there, I won't.

  3. Silly boy. Once the blisters have gone down and it looks reasonably healed,
try some Vitamin E cream. Soothes and tends to speed healing.

Oh yes excellent stuff. Good for sunburn too. Use it from the fridge!

And when it comes to cleaning a hospital Detergent is cheaper than
    Disinfectant.

I don't know what the cleaners were using, but they were using a lot of it a
lot of times. No cahnces of anyone accusing them of slacking off, that's for
sure, but keeping these places "bug free" needs more than just one
    department doing its best.
