Anybody know the torque settings for the front and back wheel of a 1975 suzuki GN125 Ta
I am sure if you wrote it down here I could print it off and take it out to the bike and get it right. Please.
The year of the bike is irrelevant. Every bike (with, admittedly, a few notable single-sided exceptions) is the same: tight. Tight enough to produce a grunt as you lean on the socket-driving bar, perhaps two grunts if it is a short bar, and maybe even a small fart if you are that way inclined. FFT = Fairly Fucking Tight.
Sage advice. If you have to adjust your chain tension at the side of the road [1] it is unlikely that you will have a torque wrench handy. [1] Not perhaps a frequent occurrence on a GN125, admittedly. -- +-------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pete Fisher at Home: | | Voxan Roadster Gilera Nordwest Yamaha WR250Z | | Gilera GFR Moto Morini 2C/375 | +-------------------------------------------------------------+
If you're doing it at the side of the road, with the standard bike toolkit, there's likely to be a squeak of pain just before the (somewhat earlier) fart as the narrow extension bar bites into your plam - sometimes a full-on howl as your foot slips off said narrow extension and your shin scrapes down the end of the bastard thing. Fairly Fair Comment.
