  2. Heh, I did laugh - even though I suspect you're serious. In fact,
mostly because I suspect you're serious.

  3. Well, I haven't. However, even if I had solderless nipples and a spare
chain link I wouldn't know what to do with them.

Is it worth taking some of that squirty punture repair stuff?

No worries. As others have said, you're probably not going to get any
hassle unless you get into something heavy. Plod stopped SteveH on the
boulevard Henri IV once, and I had barely time to get off my FJR, 'cos
as soon as they saw the UK registration number, they waved him on.

"seriously" who the **** cares what "the law actually does required".
    We're bikers, FFS[1].

    [1] and it's come to a pretty pass where it's me that's espousing[2]
    this attitude.
[2] is it OK to take a "biker" stance[3] and still use words like
    "espousing"?
[3] what about "stance" - that's probably OK since Neneh Cherry's
    usage in teh '80s.

....you were the one who laughed...

    ....that scary laugh of yours...

"Sure we're criminals," you said. "We've always been criminals.

    "We have to be criminals."
