Two if you're like us. Two blow outs in one race!!!
You race trailers?
Grr. The underground railway one didn't, err, fit in the end Anyone need an 8 X 4.0 4" PCD spare wheel ?! ;-) P.
I remember having seen a video of a race of old British cars trailing caravans... sort of a destruction rally, though.
One blew on the way to the race, changed it for the spare. One blew on the way home and left us without a spare. Recovery didn't want to know (Cunts). I really didn't want to ride 150 miles home on my KTM with no plates and tax. We phoned a mate who had a spare. He drove 150 miles to sort us out. We gave him plenty beer tokens.
Popular with the punters not so with the race track owners as it makes an almighty mess. All those bits of caravan flying about are quite dangerous for the drivers too.
Just check the width of the rail (important!) Strength of anchor points is an important issue too, as long as the ratchets holding the front fork make more strength with road bikes (the stiffer the fork, the stronger you must attach it)
I'm sure it's been discussed in here before, but in case you missed it, exceeding the trailer nose-wheel weight of a vehicle is considered very naughty these days. So it's illegal to carry virtually any bike on a bike rack, with the exception of mini-motos & possibly trials bikes. -- Krusty. http://www.muddystuff.co.uk http://www.muddystuff.us Off-road classifieds '02 MV Senna '96 Tiger '79 Fantic 250
And of course those old bangers will have floorpans like seives, too. The blood will get just *everywhere*.
