Training Wheels From...HECK!!!

    I just picked up the training wheels for my son's bicycle. I had to
    have some special made to fit a new bracket I made which went around
    the rear derailluer system. With the new bracket, it put the wheels
    out too far from the frame and caused the brackets to bend easily.
    Well, these new brackets are going to be slightly more
    stable...they're cut from 1/2" steel. It's funny, they weigh more than
    the bike itself.

    I think this time, my son will snap the axle before he bends the
    brackets for the wheels. :)

    Depending on how they work out, I'll probably have them either chromed
    or powder coated and sell to someone else who might end up with a
    similar problem.

    Either that, or I'll sell them to a motorcyclist who might need
    them...
