North Wales Plod had a news story in the local rag about offering 2 day
    training to local motorcyclists.

As I'm on hols at the moment, I thought what the hell and sent of an email
to the coordinator to get myself signed up ..... to find it's 200 quid a
day!!!! Jeepers 400 quid is a bit ouch at the moment, even including my
recent tumble I've survived the last 32 years so I may hold out a bit
    longer.

<fx: sigh> I wish FrogPlod would do something like this over here. I
may have a chat with my local station sometime.
