My most hated phrase (term?) - as I'm fairly sure Bear said many moons
    ago - is HR itself.
"Human Resources" ffs - imagine if British Airways (as opposed to
Ryanair) started referring to their passengers as "Human Cargo".
Outrage? Banner Headlines?? Questions asked in the house???
The trouble is there's normally useable gusset in HR - I console
myself by thing of it as a "Ho Repository"... ;o)

I tend to be almost career-limitingly foul-mouthed at work under normal
circumstances. It's when I stop swearing you know it's time to worry.

No, that's not what *I* mean. It may be the meaning used at your
    place.

I was trying to describe that geezer to Tori yesterday - she'd never
heard of the TV programme, which isn't surprising because I think it
finished its run on TV about 5 yrs before she was born

  10. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique,
Yes, but it has three syllables and may therefore confuse General Public
    (whoever he is).

In BAe years ago[1], they were referred to as "Human Remains".

A couple of years ago, I'd booked an online resynch of the callcentre I was
upgrading for a Sunday afternoon. The UK helpdesk had farmed it out to the
US, so I got a call from this really polite, slightly dumb guy with a strong
American accent. As we were chatting while waiting for the fix to go in, he
mentioned that, as soon as he'd finished this job, he'd be rushing home to
go to church. Which I found a bit creepy.
