Transalp or TDM?

    your forgetting last thing i rode was a chinkie scooter with about 4 horses
    if it was lucky :)

    yup aother 20 hosses would be nice, but i dont feel i'd need them really,

    what i ment about getting into trouble is a bike weighing about 130 kilos
    with a 100+ hoss engine, where the bike is in charge of you,

    Gross weight 207 kilos and I doubt if the rear wheel horsepower is
    100+

    If you let that take charge of you then you're fucked.

    Err, the tdm900 is quoted at 86PS. Compared with just 59 for the new,
    more-powerful, 700cc Transalp. Which might be quite a lot for a proper
    trailie, but in this comparison is just pathetic.

    "proper trailie"? With chromed exhaust? I see it as a road bike with
    abilities to do some easy and dry (no mud) off-road tracks.
