So, there was no 'M' in the author's name. I felt nice and safe. WTF/.
Kind of got there but suspect it needs a second read... and life's too

As for "no M" it's by no means a safe heuristic, "The Bridge" is
also without M and there's a knife missile in it. ;-)

 

This is nothing like The Bridge; it's far more readable for a start.

Banks novels

I would reread them both to see if my opinions have changed but I'm
fairly sure they were both culled in the last 'really need some more
space for books, what will I never read again?' charity shop purge.

If I ever get the books out of my bedroom and back into the library
I'm going to attempt to put my novels in some sort of order so I can
find things.
