    Hey all,

Need to move a bike from Orange NSW to Sydney, just wondering if there are places
that hire out motorbike specific trailers with tie downs etc included? or if a
regular Box Trailer would be fine?

    Cheers.

Unless it's a longish bike, it should fit across a box trailer. Measure
it up first... some places hire out longer trailers.

No worries thanks. Gotta let the relatives know that its happening anyways, can't
just turn up just in case they aren't there, so its a project for next weekend.. been
meaning to organise it for a while, just haven't had the chance. I don't even know
what kind of bike it is, but its the best kind of cheap and needs only minor repairs
    so i'll see what happens.

Kennards at Dee Why did me a bike trailer when the Raptor failed to proceed.

  7. Transported a mate's old Yamaha last weekend during his move; fitted
into a standard box trailer with no problems. Just had to go in at an angle
    from corner to corner.

Sit it on its stand, strap the handle bars tightly to one end of the
trailer (thereby compressing the front suspension so it doesn't jitter
about), and the rear wheel (or preferably the grabrails) to the other end of
    the trailer.

Oh, and don't try to perform any wild manoeuvres; though the bike'll be
strapped securely in place, the raised centre of gravity'll make the trailer
a little on the "happy" side.
