Trident shock

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Milo Thurston, Sep 25, 2005.

  1. Much 2-up commuting combined with the pot-holed roads of Oxfordshire and
the speed bumps down my street have finally taken their toll on the rear
    shock of my '92 Trident.
Can anyone recommend any particular rear shock replacement? Preferably
something that will cope with the conditions mentioned above.

  2. Get the OE one rebuilt by Maxton. Cheaper and better.

  4. No! I meant "Get the OE one rebuilt" - in other words, they take your
existing shock, strip and rebuild it, often better than new and to your
own weight/riding style. Costs £150 or thereabouts.

  5. Ah, I see, thanks. I'll look into it, then.

Hagon do very good replacements. I got one for the FJ last year, and it
    transformed the handling somewhat.
