Did you ever meet a small Arab "guide" that spoke in a better cockney
    accent than Michael Caine?

Yes, he was a panel beater and had lived for 9 years in Croydon. the
funny thing was chatting to him, he wearing his jalabaya and
dish-dasha, looked totally incongruous... Strange but true... Totally
devoted to his wife, a romany girl with broad east-end screach, she
looked kind arabic but "Mahmoud? Where'd you put the fuckin shoppin?"
    Priceless...

    tourists. :)

    night.

They don't allow tourists to drive in the Nile region anyway. They
even limit the trains you can take south of Cairo.

IT's probably be a disaster for their tourism, having RTAs every 5
    minutes.

    Your sig sep is broken.

Cold! Very cold. Windy and cold. (for relative levels of cold).
can get down to 0 occaisionally mostly about 4 - 7. Snow on the high ground.
    Rain is also a possibility.

I live on the coast in southern Turkey. I have done for about 4 years now.
In December its /fucking cold/! You head towards Syria it gets colder. You head
    north it gets colder.

Contrary to popular belief winter does occur in places people go to for
    holidays in the summer.

Seriously. It's cold in Winter. Not as cold as the UK but chilly as hell and
the wind can be a bit enthusiastic adding to the low temperatures.

You asked for advice you got some. What you do with it is entirely up to you.
I can say Turkey would be a great place in the spring. Summer's too hot for
some people and winters are cold. Autumn is a bit unpredictable either being
hotter than the gates of hell or rainy.

If you do it let me know I'll buy you a beer on the way through. Sociable
    fellow that I am :)
