Well, looks like after 10k miles it needs some new pads. Since business has
been a bit dull of late, I feel like doing them myself.

Any recommendations as to getting HH or sintered or whatever?

Any pointers as to things I should worry about when doing it? It's a 2003
    if that makes any difference.

    TIA

Yes, sorry about that. I should have thought.
Probably but I have garnered much useful info here in the past, so my
    optimism is high(ish)

Shite. Utter, utter, shite. Commonly known as "Greens", right?
    *no* sense. None at all.
Do me a fucking favour, Rob. I put these things in the RF 'cos they
were cheap. I nearly shit. One good heave on the brakes from 140,
wanting to get down to 80 and the fucking pads went away like they
were never there - and the next corner in 50m was even worse.

You're recommending dangerous crap here, Rob. I'd rather smear
cardboard with digshit and fit that than use EBC Greens again.

I'd go for HH as a minimum, Carbon Lorraine SBK3 for preference on any
bike that is ever likely to be used above walking pace.

If my word isn't enough, ask Christofire about his result from the
dealer dropping a set of this shite into his SV, when HH were
specified and recommended. He'll tell you they're shite as well.

Digshit...........Oh do spell chekck luvvie (TM BGN)

Just speaking form a friends experience is all. He had no problems and he's
    quite an "assertive" rider..

There's no mention of "Greens" on their site, although in the Motor Vehicle
section there is, but not for the pads I suggested for bikes.

I'm sure the OP will take your advice.

Ahh, the other side of the coin :)
Well, HH are a whole £4 per pair more expensive, so I think I can handle
    that.

Im coming to this conclusion as well, though imho, I reckon its a
combination of disk/pad that makes the difference..

For example, bog standard EBC pads (dunno what they were... the cheapest)
worked brilliantly with OEM Yamaha disk, but EBC Prolite disk and EBC HH
pads suck arse. On the front. On the back, perfect. So there you go.

On the Triumph triples with the opposed piston calipers I found the OEM
    pads were just fine.

All I know is that on the ZRX they're a lot better than OEM. Might try
    some CL's next time though.
