    Hi folks.

    I'm back.

(Don't suppose many noticed that I was gone!)

Anyhow, in the seven weeks or so that I was off-ski, the fora at
triumph675.net appear to have vanished....at least I can't seem to find
    them.

Anyone know anything about this disappearing act?

    regards,

Hi there, Tara, how the hell are you?

    What you riding these days?

I assume the baby Kwaka cruiser has long since been replaced.

    That went in 2004 :( and in 2003 I got a barge, I mean a GSX750F, which went
this year and I'm now on a BEWDiful SV1000S :)

I pottered along on the GSXF at about the same speed as I rode the EL, on
the SV, im a tad *cough* faster :) I LOVE it, it was exactly what I wanted,
which was a relief considering I didn't test ride one hehehe But I knew what
    I wanted :)

    Hoon!!! <snigger>

I think I'm slower on my SV650 than I was on the GS500.... maybe it's coz
I'm a little bit nervous about the extra power - I know it's there if I need
it, but am too much of a chickenshit (and undoubtedly way too unskilled
anyway) to try and find the limits yet.

I love how nimble the SV is after the GS though (when I'm not falling over
in carparks, that is.) Just thought I'd say that bit before anybody else
    did....

I read that it is a DNS issue and that you can still access the server
    by it's actual IP address.

I didn't bother writing down the IP at the time because I don't use it
(but it made the guy in channel at time happy). [1]

I glad you are happy with your bike.

When you dropped out of touch, I was kinda worried that you might be
giving up on the bike thing, but, obviously, my fears were totally
    unfounded. :)

naa I was just stupid and was un-single for 5 years heheh though he did ride
too, but I hardly rode and that was more cause I just didn't enjoy it on the
    GSXF.

But now im planning on getting an adventure bike next year too! :)

oh, I am nowhere near the limits... though I have already ridden the SV at
about 70kph MORE than I ever rode the GSXF heheh

But I have doubled my corner speed and its nice to no longer be the TEC all
the time! I even went on a big ride and was a corner marker and managed to
keep getting back up to the front w00t!

I agree the SV is so nibble and I feel so much more comfortable leaning it
    over than the Barge!!

Don't worry Betty, you get all the drops over and done with :) It seems to
be the girly way :) I did it too... My EL kissed the gravel a few times! I
didn't upgrade and buy a NEW bike till I thought I could keep it upright LOL
and then I picked it up and 6 weeks later a tourist took me out when he ran
a red... I walked away unscathed though, bike ended up with minor damage.

Ah, well, you have the height to carry it off with some style! :)

I'm quietly amused at some of the short-arse blokes struggling with 7
    foot tall "adventure" bikes.

I rode a Tenere yesterday, and my knees weren't bent! Think that is the
first bike I have ridden that that has happened!
