Kool or what?Is it really the first SBK rider to win a GP?[What about
    Frankie?]

Did/nt even get all excited about it, like "i won, yeah and?"

Confirmed it was his LAST RIDE in MotoGP and that he is happy where he
    is..................:

    A clothesline out the back

    And an old rocking chair

You'll see me in the kitchen

    Vegemite on toast

    Just you and me

    And a cup of tea

And when my friends will ask me

    The place that I adore

    I'll tell you right away.

    Give me a home...........

Ummm, Hatz, couldn't help noticing, there's an Aussie flag up your pole but
no sign of the usual Italian one, or the yellow one with the number 46 on
    it...

Simon Crafar won a GP race at Donnington in 1998 and he came from
    superbikes.

No fool! (And they never said it was!)
It's the first Supers CHAMP to win a GP. (Little John did it the other way
    round)

The first World-Superbike race winner to win a GP was a certain M. Doohan
    in 1990.

Crafar never won a Supers race though (not that that was a criteria).
Tamada won a Supers race and then a few GPs.
Mick Doohan won 3 Supers races and a GP or two too.

Now can you see the need for daylight saving? You would have only been
beaten by 4 hours (or thereabouts) :)

Hang on, didn't Crafar win in the rain at Valencia in 1995, or was is
94 (damn this lousy memory ;-( ) This was just before McCoy showed how
    to slide it.

Crafar came very close but never won a World Supers race.
He did win the 500 GP mentioned above though.
