Not sure where he is going, but MUST have had a better offer to leave?

Perhaps back to Ducati? After all HRC has shown this year they mean business
and the 2 spastics Ducati have at the moment in SBK are useless and not
    suitable for the position IMHO

  7. I'm fuckin' ashamed to be Australian and live in a country where the
supposed majority have no morals or scruples! What we need is a good
arseisination to keep the bastards honest!

You and me both, I used to be proud to be Australian and now I'm
ashamed, there's really only one rational conclusion to draw - I don't
belong here, I'll be pissing off as soon as I am able (it'll take about
a year, gotta finish this degree I'm paying through the nose for).

As for him taking it as a mandate, I'm afraid he DOES have a mandate,
given he seems to have won an outright majority in the senate it's only
rational to conclude the values of "looking out for your mates" and a
fair go don't matter anymore. The dollar is king, as long as "I'm
alright Jack" you can go die in the gutter. Log them forests, start them
wars, don't need no reason, just make some up.

Oh well, if that's who Australians are I guess I'm unAustralian.

Question for any of you guys who've got home loans with CBA or another major
    financial institution.
My folks got a letter from CBA saying the interest rate on their investment
home had gone up and when dad called, they told him, that it was tough luck,
effectively. When mum called, they had no idea and I've asked her to follow
up on this. A few people they know have got this kind of letter as well.
The letter said that increase was effective August, but they haven't been
    deducted accordingly.
Apparently the letterhead wasn't in colour (didn't know CBA posted stuff in
black and white letterhead), and this sounds a bit like a tin foil hat
issue, but considering some things that were done during the campaign for
cheap votes, I'm becoming suspicious that it was some kind of scare tactic
    to push the swingers over.
I could be completely wrong here, but if it was a cheap trick, I'm sure it
can't be legal, and if not a police matter, one for the ACCC. Please keep an
    eye out.

    Rant over. I'm just frustrated...

I'm sure Ducati is most disappointed with the spastic who is the new WSBK
    champion.

Anyone who voted for one party over another on the assumption that interest
rates would do one thing or another deserves the government that they got.
The Libs used interest rates to scare homeowners away from voting for Labor.
Labor didn't appear to apply a lot of effort at refuting such claims because
economies move in well known and usually predictable cycles, and regardless
who is in government, there is only one direction in which interest rates will
    move in the foreseeable future.

The Libs used the interest rates issue during the campaign because they knew
that if Labor got elected, interest rates would go up, and they could say "we
told you so". Interest rates will go up in the near future despite the Libs
winning. They will blame other [international] economies and big spending
Australian businesses and home buyers for causing it, not their own policies.
May as well just reset the lie meter and make that #1 for the new government.
