  2. Last I bought were from Don Wilson, but that business is no more. I've a set of R series ones fitted to my
    old K100.

If you're looking for nice black rubber ones instead of shit plastic ones that come in trailbike lengths only,
the places I'd try would be:

Motohansa in Punchbowl (talk to Andy),
    Munich Motorcycles in Perth,
Show and Go Motorcycles in Adelaide,
    BM Workshop in QLD
    or
Motobins in UK (usually hard to beat)

No idea what current prices would be for gators, maybe crocs would suffice?

  3. Motohansa are operating from the same premises, they bought Don out, but its not the same business at all, the
guy running it already had a BMW parts business running from his backyard, he just took over the premises as
it has a known BMW history and people still turn up expecting to find Don (who still does a little work).
Mark Wilson I last heard was doing some mobile mechanic BMW repairs up around the central coast.

  4. No-one I've used, I mostly get the hard stuff done at Motohansa ($$$) and look after the easy stuff myself.

I do know a guy up in Blackheath though, he's a motor mechanic, currently works on scooters for a living,
rides an R1100GS and is quite BMW savvy, he does some work from home. But I'll have to track him down, he's a
rally friend(he's worked where I work also for a time) and other than his face and first name (David) I don't
know how to contact him straight off.

They're for the ST (and R65), aren't they? My mechanic said they weren't
    interchangeable.

Pity, the plastic ones are shit.

Gary (so is my bike, now the plastic ones have crumbled)
