I watched the Supersport race last night on ITV4 and I have to say it
was a corker. In the past, I've not bothered watching much coverage of
the TT as quite frankly I've always thought it a bit pants (the
coverage, not the racing), but it has certainly improved in recent
times. It's just a shame Steve Parrish is a bit of a tit IMO.

    And from the report here:
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/8092328.stm

"Jenny Tinmouth, who finished in 47th position, became the fastest
woman in TT history, lapping the course at an average speed of 116.8
    mph."

So Champ is officially slower than a girl.

  2. I wish they'd spent a bit more time covering the battery bikes -
hopefully we'll see more when they race.

I have absolutely *no* interest in the battery bikes, but why no race
    coverage of the Superstock?

ORLY? I'd not bothered watching it for the reasons you state. Might
    give it whirl this evening.

Corking race, was really hoping Guy Martin would hold his place. I
felt for Bruce Anstey though. That's got to annoy you a bit.

I'll guess because the race was at 6.30 they probably wouldn't have
had time to sort the footage and commentary out before the 9pm
    broadcast. I'll bet it's in tonight's show.

  7. Does anyone know if practice times are being posted anywhere?
I couldn't find them on the TT site when I looked. I'd like to know
how our team are doing. They had some last-minute problems that they
overcame, but no news since then.

The silent take off from the line takes some getting used to. You'd
think someone would have placed a playing card in the spokes to create a
    brrrrrm noise.

  10. Ah, thanks. I'd had some trouble negotiating that site so didn't
go away from the TT site. Looks like our guy didn't make it around the
    lap.

I like Jenny, me and Danny usually have a drink with her in the bar
when we're all off racing together.
