    From another place:

The music makes this incredible footage even better.

  2. that is pretty impressive film. I particularly like the TWA bits,
interesting to see the compression and squirm of the rear tyre on re-
    entry.

Stunning, it's not often I watch clips all the way through but that
    was fantastic.

    Fuuuuuuck.

Once again, I find myself with feelings of inadequacy.

My arms are just not long enough to express just *how* big those guys'
    balls are.

The "door shutting" at 04:40's a bit... exciting, what?

Indeed. Tho it always looks worse on camera than in reality. I doubt
the lead rider know Anstey was right there, and Anstey would certainly
have been expecting him to move over.

You reckon? I read that as "I don't doubt" and thought, yeah, me too.

I'm fairly sure he knew _exactly_ where Anstey was - he was determined
not to let him past. Interesting at the start how much Anstey caught
him up in a couple of corners, but was then unable to press home the
    advantage.

I've taken Rob to the '100 a couple of times. Prefer it in many ways to the
UGP or NW200. It is UTTERLY BUTTERLY BARKING without any shadow of a doubt.
The Kells race has some of the same qualities and the most insane wheelie
section going, a section of downhill with 3 pronounced steps 50 metres
apart. 125 mile per hour wheelies and tank slappers. Reminds me of a
certain KH250 article of many years ago.

<disappointed> There aren't any KH250s in that clip...

Ok, I'll accept that the leading rider knew Anstey was thereabouts,
but there's no way he knew "exactly where he was" - it's simply not
possible to know that without looking round, and you just can't really
do that on that sort of terrain - *all* of your concentration is on
    where *you're* going.

As to the catching but not getting past - yes, it was obvious that
Anstey was faster overall. But that's racing. The lead rider seemed
much better than Anstey at getting out of the corner before the long
straight, such that Anstey couldn't really slipstream him. And that
seemed to be just about the only overtaking spot.

Er no! though they do race classics at Kells. I think Tullyhubbert and
myself might have seen a KH there.

I was of course referring to the famous article. Was it in Superbike?
